Horse Pictures
The desert southwest is home to many horses; some wild and many more riding and show horses. Rodeo is a big business and every year the equivalent of half the populaton of the entire state visits the New Mexico State Fair. Rodeo and horse shows are a big part of that.
We are not really into pictures of show horses or rodeo action shots. Instead we look for ranch horses with a background of scenic vistas, weathered old barns, sheds or corrales. These are the kind of horse stock real cowboys use.
